Why RotaryIs.org?
RotaryIs.org is our way of informing the community of all the reasons you might consider joining one of our 50+ local Rotary clubs. Yet, mention "Rotary" and often, people think of stale ol' meetings with stale ol' men eating some sort of boring meal.
Um.. No. Not in our clubs.
But Isn't Rotary for just OLD People? (No Offense)
Rotary International members range in age from 18-100+. Currently, there are around 1.4 million Rotarians in 200 Countries and just in our little area of NC we have 50+ clubs with 2500+ members from in their 20s - 80s.
So if you're breathing and above ground, you'd qualify.
Maybe.
See, even though anyone can be a Rotarian, not everyone is a good fit. People usually join for certain reasons.

We joined our Rotary Club because:
- We wanted to give back to our community
- We wanted to do business networking
- We wanted to meet and hang out with new friends with similar values
But in reality, it was a little more than that. Let us explain...
How much does it cost?
Every Rotary club decides on their membership cost. It can range from $25 - $125 / month depending if there are meals involved or any other club fees. By the way, most clubs in our area have a membership fee designed for those who want to participate but whose budget is pretty tight, so if money is a factor, just ask. We get it.
